ABC 直接預訂《靈書妙探 Castle》主創 Andrew W.Marlowe 及其妻子 Terri Edda Miller 開發兼執筆的新劇《捲土重來 Take Two》，並已找了 Rachel Bilson 及 Eddie Cibrian 當主演。 《捲土重來》是部輕松向的程序劇，講述女主角 Ella（Rachel Bilson 飾）以前是部大熱警察劇的主角，但處於低迷的她為了重振演藝生涯，於是跑去找粗魯﹑栽跟頭的私家偵探 Eddie（Eddie Cibrian 飾），希望觀摩真實案件來作為角色研究。 Eddie 原本很討厭這種保姆似的工作，但 Ella 卻用演技以及演了 200 集警探的經驗，協助了 Eddie 的調查；而當新聞開始吹捧 Ella 成功解決一件高調大案時，Eddie 發現一堆新客戶來電，表示希望聘請主角二人查案。
