2010년 코믹콘에서 발표된 헤일로 시리즈의 세계를 베이스로 한 옴니버스 애니메이션. SF 장르나 옴니버스 구성, 각기 다른 애니메이션 회사들의 콜라보레이션이란 점에서 애니매트릭스의 영향을 받았음을 짐작할 수 있다. 특히 세계관을 설명하는 매트릭스의 세컨드 르네상스와 헤일로의 더 오리진은 분위기도 비슷한 편.

Beginning aboard the Forward Unto Dawn, on which Cortana and Master Chief were stranded after the events of Halo 3, Cortana begins by musing of her seven years of existence and that she has learned a great deal more about the Forerunners than was previously known. The story then shifts to a Forerunner planet before the invasion of the Flood, and then leads up to infection of the planet and it's eventual orbital bombardment.
